Chakmas’ own customary laws.
Ironically, different Chakma inhabited locations prescribe different Chakma customary laws. For example, some customary laws in CHT are not acceptable to other parts, like in Tripura and Mizoram and vice versa. Therefore, as mentioned above, different debates and discussions are being carried out to come to a mutual and universal solution regarding Chakma customary laws.
At this moment, it would be highly controversial if they were posted in this article without prior permission from the Chakma higher authorities (honourable “murubbi” people). As soon it gets finalised, Chakmapedia will update this article.
